Bringing Barbarians Back Into Multiplayer
Big Guys Upstairs » Devlog
While I always wanted this game to be a game you play with friends - I originally started off development ignoring networking. I substituted networked players to playtest with by creating a "barbarian" ai player that would randomly attack you from camps they had around the map. A version of these are still playable against in 0.1.1.
Queue working in the multiplayer - I never bothered to rework the Barbarian AI to work properly with multiple players, so it disappeared from the game, until now.
I've been excited to re-introduce Barbarian camps for a while now into multiplayer games. Coming soon!
